*NEWS* One Demmi/Tony puppy from our April 5, 2002 litter - "Multi BOB/Group III /BISS/BOSS/Am CH Sierra Gold's Bea" took Best in Specialty Show at 10 months old [possibly a 1st for a Rottweiler puppy] and finished her AKC Championship at 12 months old with her third Major [4,5,5] taking Winners Bitch over 151 entries at the 2003 ARC Nationals in Greeley, CO. :-) *FLASH* At just 18+ months old at the end of 2003 Bea is officially the # 20 Rottweiler and the #5 Bitch in both the AKC Rottweiler Breed and AKC All Breed systems, with multiple BOB's, BOS's, and AOM's. WOW!

We are also proud to announce that two puppies from our June 28,2003 repeat Demmi/Tony breeding; Bea and Bannor's younger sister "Nighthawks CallGirl v Sierra Gold", Trix, and younger brother "Sierra Gold's Cajn Cassanova", Cajn, are following in big brother and sister's footsteps.

*Note* "Many people do not realize the importance the bitch plays in a breeding program. All puppies are a combination of genes, 50% are from the male and 50% from the female. Most people interested in buying puppies choose a breeding primarily on who the sire is, not giving the quality of the dame enough credit. This can be a grave mistake because a sire, regardless of the quality and/or pedigree, cannot compensate for a poorly bred dame. Most people who buy a puppy based solely on the stud dog tend to be disappointed as the puppy matures. We chose "Demmi" to be our foundation bitch because of her "quality" and "pedigree." Anyone can breed to an exceptional stud dog, but not everyone has invested in a quality bitch. This is what sets this breeding apart-- an exceptional stud dog bred to an exceptional bitch."
